Any shooter wich doesn't have split coop is a bit behind the times. But nevertheless, nice to see Gears following the mighty Halo here. Impressed.

Looks great. We know thats not the game engine per se, but the ideas floating look awesome. Cant wait to finsh the fight. Really really want to see the conclusion. So Epic can you do better than Bioware can with UE3. You have your work cut out. LOL.

I like the Gears trailers, they are usually pretty good.

You sir are forgetting the NUMBER one rule in sci-fi and fantasy. The less a woman wears the more powerful she is in battle. If a woman fights naked she will NEVER die. She will be an unstoppable killing machine.

Sure, it's not too realistic. Any woman who could carry a chainsaw gun in real life and wear heavy armor wouldn't exactly be petite and adorable. Still, it's great. I saw a decent numbers of girls playing Gears 2 online, and I'm sure a playable female character could draw even more girls to the game. Plus, the game itself will be amazing. It's win-win in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure I've gotten trashed by some of those girls too.

Reading Game Informer a while back, they had a story about the lack of female COGs. In their world, the human race was on the verge of extinction. Females had the role of ensuring the survival of the race by giving birth to strong offspring. I assume that the only reason this chick is going to be fighting is because she can't have kids. I seriously doubt she's going to be there just for some fanboy eye-candy. I bet she brings a lot to the franchise.

In the books the actively involved women are older (past child-rearing age), and people like Anya are only able to serve in command centers for the most part.  I swear I remember something about her opinion on kids somewhere in one of those novels...

A female gorrila? We have plenty of those at the Zoo!
