Agree, Gears commercials are always my favorite! My personal favorite would be Gears 2 Poem commercial or the trailer.

I am not saying she is the first. She just won't fit the game. I just don't see her fitting in at all.

The female COG from the Comics is hotter than the one in Gears 3 IMO. But the both look badass so no complaints from me!

She is badass and all, but look at the amount of armor she wears compared to what the male versions wear. Yeah, she will survive real well.

i dont know why but i am frustrated that they decided to put female cogs in gears of war i mean wtf the red head from thecomic book is shit why the fuck would mencog have to wear a ton of armour wile she is almost wearing nothign in comparison. i hate when they do that.

As someone already mentioned, they have female CoGs in the Gears of War canon.

The backstory and the novels (which will always be the true heart of story telling in a game like this) make women a large part of the war machine.

Humanity has it's back to the wall and gender roles go out the window as everyone does their part. 

Rather than being silly to have a woman now, it was silly not to have a woman the last two times.

CliffyBs twitter confirmed the female cog to be Anya, so she isn't really a new character but just stepping into the role of frontline fighter it seems.

I thinks its cool to have the female in the game.
Anyways now that hopefully we can get past that part we also have double barrel shotgun confirmed and what looks like a modified Lancer with a bayonet on the end of it. Look at Dom's gun when the female hands it to him. Possible grenade launcher attachment at the bottom?

That trailer is great. They pump me up...but then the game, while still great, doesn't live up to the hype.

Hope this one delivers the awesomeness of the trailers that promote it.
