naa with wii mote and nunchuk i can literally chill back and my hands never get tired and i have buttons to press , i think the only people trying to defend rts on natal are the blind fanboys lol.

natal wont have shooters or rts games lets get real folks unless they are entirely built and simplified for natal , hmmm so starcraft 2 or natals possible "gimped" rts ??

i know some of you will get mad but its the truth , natal inst going to see any true hardcore titles, and im pretty sure there was an article on here saying that natal wont be used for these purposes anyways

Well, I tried discussing this with you, but now you've just gone and called the people that disagree with you "blind fanboys", you do realize that is going too far right?

Wait...did he come into a NATAL thread, dis everything NATAL, say how the MOVE is better, then say OTHER people are fanboys?

...

...

HAHAHAHAHA!

NOW that is really funny!

I tried being really polite to him and addressed all of his concerns and he countered with "blind fanboys", I'm a little peeved to be honest.

Off-topic: You're almost at 1,000 posts!

I hear you man, *I* wish you had that time you spent conversing about that back.

Off-topic, only took me 2 years to get there...I'm holding out my 1000th for Mrs. Right (topic).

i dont understand why you guys are getting mad

so tell me what the definitive platform to play rts games on ?? and on that platform are you not using the keyboard to button map many many different options.

does the move not replicate a pc interface more than natal?? physical precision controller with buttons.

im sorry if i offended anyone but the move will be the definitive hardcore motion based platform and i really dont see how you can deny it and i own a 360 i am just stating the simple fact that natal wont be a hardcore experience

LOL at the idea of natal for RTS or even RPGs unless they are incredibly dumbed down

Let's try this one more time. The reason you are irritating me is that you pointed out some potential flaws with the Natal being a "hardcore" controller, I addressed these flaws. You ignored my doing so and reposted the same potential flaws in rebuttal. You cannot state as fact ANYTHING about Natal because a) you've never used it b) it may not even be complete at this time so NOBODY has used the finished product as far as we know.

As far as move replicating the PC interface, maybe, but what it really replicates is the Wii interface. And "Hardcore" gamers have been telling me for the last 3 years that the Wii isn't hardcore and only for the casuals, but now that the PS3 has Wii controls it will be "hardcore" The only fact we can take out of this whole thing that is proven is that Wii-Like controls have yet to showcase very much hardcore potential at all. Do you think Nintendo is bad at what they do and wouldn't get those games if they were there? Is Sony so much better at making games than Nintendo? Really?

Funny thing is that reading his posts in this thread, it seems like he's being more a "blind fanboy" than you are.

LOL....

Note: Im curious to get both move and natal. However i'll probably be able to afford only one when they do come out. A to me Move is way to similar to the Wii, which I got but never play. Natal on the other hand is innovative and different. So i'll more than likely get the Natal. I mean come on, i just can't help get excited about the possiblilty of being in the game yourself (your whole body even!). Just thinking about kicking a penalty goal in soccer with Natal.

AWESOME!!!!

PWNED! lol....

but but sony already announced an exclusive rts game with move they announced socom 4 will be playable with move they announced re4 and re5 with the move. there is more but i forget .

dude all the third party wii stuff can now come to ps3 without any issues, that means ps3s gaming library is going to essentially double and those hardcore wii titles that didnt sell well are going to do very very well with sony's audience.

that why in my first post i said microsoft is shooting themselves in the foot with natal. they need to have some kind of motion controller to compete , they are throwing away a potentially huge amount of good games.

those hardcore wii games dont sell well for all sorts of reasons doesnt mean they are bad, i would love to see monster hunter and red steel or madworld come over to ps3 but you wont see any of those ports on a 360 , you see what i mean.

plus when you get into games like dragon age the pc interface works the best by far and sony move can give you that experience but you cant do it on natal you need some type of physical buttons.

im talking about the already established hardcore genres we already know and love not some dumbed down specially designed interface for a limited piece of hardware , we already get that enough with the gamepad .

Those are fantastic genre's for NATAL, if you don't think so then either you are a. trolling or b. suffer from a catastrophic failure of imagination.  Several posters have mentioned multiple ways to use NATAL with a RTS.  RPGs map even better than.    Here is a free idea for you.  Harry Potter rpg.  You make and scan your own wand. use verbal commands and wand gestures to cast spells.  Interact with students and teachers as we expect fable iii to do.  movement is controlled with non-wand hand.  Broom flying segments using actual broom with NATAL scanning end of broom + body for flight controls.
