why ur comparing 3 years old game with new one

Well erm... snake eater couldn't really possibly have higher resolution / better walltextures due to the constraints of PS2 technology vs PS3.

As for people saying 'why do wall textures matter' and stuff like that, you're kidding? Wall and floor textures are what you're going to be looking at most in a game. They make the backgrounds to every action, if they're ugly then the game is ugly.

MGS3 does > God of War II though. In terms of wall textures, and aside perhaps FFX it's probably the best looking third person game on the PS2... not as good as any PS3 games mind you but still, it does look pretty good.
