But you really prefer that people are just called to sing instead of winning an Idol-like to show to go to Eurovision? I think it's so unfair to just call stabilished stars to participate instead of giving people the chance of starting their career at the contest, and what start it is.

Well, at least here in germany we have tons of unknown musicians/bands with really awesome skills and passion for music, that deserve to be at the ESC way more than someone casted in an "idol"-show.

But those people can be casted by the "idol"-show.

I liked the old (1993 onwards) rule better, since we attended only every second year.

But, atleast in the past people have had taste considering the competition, which is proved by this song having 0 points in 1986:

@invetedlotus: I think Zledejis taste in music is a little different from ABBA. :D

Sorry but I was referring to non ancient times :)

ABBA on eurovision is something what my mother might remember but i definitly do not :)

Anyway, I really loved Lordi! I think everyone was like "How did they were able to win?". But ABBA is something that will always be in my heart, also is Celine. Anyway, what do you think about this year entries?
