Forums - Microsoft - Splinter Cell: Conviction 5 Hours LONG!!! NO Thanks!

5 hours sounds just wrong for a game that was in development for such a long time 'imo'..but sounds like the MP is interesting so those who like it will have a good time

That's too bad, it seems too many developers focus too much on multiplayer and not singleplayer.

1. The game sucks

2. Who gives a shit how long it is? Its not like its 1 hour

3. Quality > Quantity

to the few posters above...

the 360 forums are full of 360 "owners" and even blatant non 360 owners trolling everything 360/... its a drag.

If soemones pretends to have a platform its kind of sad

Even though what youe say is probably true, from what I have seen of your posting history you would never question the 360., I think questioning all consoles is a healthy practice.

yeah exactly, from your posting history its hard to believe you actually have a ps3.

My PSN ID is there for all to see and to add if you so choose.  I praise the ps3 and ps3 games all the time.  Go check.  Just ps3 fanboys I have a REAL problem with...

i have never seen you praise the ps3 once. its obvious you have a bias towards the 360

there is nothing wrong with having a bias... his main system is his 360... it will be the same for me when I finally pick up a PS3... that doesn't mean I wont love playing those awesome exclusives like Uncharted 2 and LBP

9.0 Presentation
Stylish menus and cool projection technology make for a unique experience. The story is an amalgamation of different seasons of 24, but it's nice to see Sam so angry.
8.5 Graphics
Nice animations. Gritty but good-looking environments. The framerate occasionally dips, but it's nothing major.
9.0 Sound
Michael Ironside does a great job reprising his role as Sam Fisher. The enemies have some nice quips. Solid musical score.
9.0 Gameplay
Stealth is fast and fun. Mark & Execute is a great addition. The AI is excellent if you play on Realistic difficulty.
8.0 Lasting Appeal
The single-player and co-op campaigns are short, but there's a lot of other things to do. And you'll probably want to play through everything more than once.

9.3 Outstanding OVERALL

how does that make it a 9.3? isnt that a 8.7 for overall? I know Im not the first one to mention it though

Because rabid fanboys need something to cry about the first thing ppl did when that trailer launched is blame the graphics now its campaign length:>

The final score is NOT an average..however it is a bit weired that when no single aspect got more than 9.0, that the overall will be a 9.3

oh well not like IGN reviews matter...they have been full of shit imo since the days of the Godhand review

Yeah why don't you go take a look at Heavy Rain review and then come back to me and act all confused... the game as a whole is greater than the sum if it's parts... that's all
