Rent Splinter Cell Conviction then. How long do they let you keep new releases these days? I have a mail-in rental subscription instead and I haven't rented from Blockbuster or any other those video stores for ages so I wouldn't know.

@oldschoolfool

Just because he's incredibly busy doesn't mean that he shouldn't partake in some gaming. A life that is all work and no play is not a life worth living.

something like gamefly is a good choice to rent games. I think that's the netflix of videogames,if I'm not mistaken.

Would you like them to add 20 hours of cut scenes so the game is longer like MGS 4?? Now, keep in mind this is going to drop gameplay to 2 hours max so they can get all the scenes in! ;)

You've never ever touched MGS4 have you?  Sigh....some people really take what they hear to stupid extremes without ever playing the actual game.  Even without cutscenes I assure you MGS4 is more than 5 hours long.

Without rushing through I beat MGS4 in about 24 hrs.(Normal)

With skipping all the cutscenes and without rushing I beat MGS4 in about 12hrs(Hard)

With Rushing trying to get the Big Boss Emblem my first time it took me 15hrs (EXTREME)

With rushing and finally getting the Big Boss Emblem around I think my 7th or 8th playthrough 4hrs 30mins (extreme) that was the hardest thing I ever done in my gaming career and I was so mentally exhausted I took a long break from Video games.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

This thread is very disappointing.

I wish some people could chill out sometimes and just shut up.

5 hours? Sure maybe i'll get it when it's 20 dollars. Also not to sound like a troll or anything, but I think the commercial for the game sucked.

Trailers weren't too bad though.

What I really don't understand is if you hate playing MP games then why bother paying for Live ?

OT : Splinter Cell : Conviction 5 hours ? Damn.

Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Slaughterhouse Is The Sh*t  .... NOW ........ B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Really dislike how reviewers put more of their scores into the MP nowadays. I'm not a big fan of MP either. But I do play once and awhile. But for me SP is where the game score should count mostly.

This is what I'm wondering too.

But 5 hours for the main story is kinda short. Did the review say how long the coop campaign is?
