You never know.  343 Industries hasn't really revealed much of what they've been working on over the last few years.  Just Halo Legends so far which was the video series.

I do think that a Halo 4 one year after Reach would be stupid.  I don't even want a Halo 4.  I want them to continue the alternate new storyline of Reach and the new squad, not try to make a new story out of Master Chief after he already saved humanity and disappeared to that random planet.

Exclusive to Microsoft platforms though? These games have a fanbase on the PS3. I think they're better off multiplat.

Edit: Mind you, I do prefer playing ES on PC, though.

I dont know about bigger then Gears, maybe Mass Effect or something but isnt both Gears games at about 6M sales each? Thats a tall order to pass that.

For all the people saying Halo 4, id say thats unlikely ever to happen. Halo Reach more or less is Halo 4. Yes I know its not a sequel to Halo 3, but Halo 3 was the end of the trilogy so its ended there. If they continue the storyline the game will probably have a similar name style to Reach eg 'Halo: insert new series title here', similar to how Call of Duty went 1, 2 3, 4 and then the direct sequel to CoD 4 refreshed the numbers.

Microsoft definately won't bring a successor out to 360. They will probably provide a redesign of the 360 based on the graphics and cpus being on one chip now.

They will have a lot of exclusives this holiday season but they will focus on the casual market with natal.

The big one I am interested in is Rare. After doing more then one game a year average for the first few years of this generation they went quiet... I think they will come out swinging with a game that will be bundled in Natal and another core game oriented to Natal.
