The same thing happened with a top of the line Sony camera I have. It broke when it was out of warranty and they replaced it for free. I pretty much buy only Sony electronics now because their customer service is so good. A Sony 3DTV will be my next buy.

They aren't losing money, trust me.

well my dad got a tv when he was young. it was obviously an old one when I grow up it was put in the kitchen.  well anyway only broke a few years back probably to do with steam getting inside it when my mum was cooking. I asked my dad how old it was and he thought about it. he came back and said around 27 years old.  guess who made it.
