I tried it, I couldn't get him.

Maybe because I only evovled the three main roles for my characters. Even with Fang/Snow/Hope (and their three main roles), I could only get rid of the Picochus.

Seriously, I don't have a mix for their roles, they literally only have three each. Someone being a MED, SYN, and SEN would have helped a lot, but my Crystarium is not spread out enough to let me win. I tried for an hour with different paradigms, parties, and accessories, and I simply deemed it impossible.

But, that doesn't mean the game is hard. Just that I didn't spread my Crystarium out enough.

I had Lightning SYN at level 2, Fang SEN at level 5 and Vanille's MED at level 5 and barely had mastered only two of the three main roles for them.

But I had at least level up each of the non-essential roles to level 1, back when I was on pulse on chapter 11. Even so, level 1 jobs barely make do.

!?!?

Dude! I'm not close to mastering anyone's main role. I'm only halfway through stage 10 for each role.

Everyone's only at Level 4 for their main roles, and Level 0 in everything else.

You could have informed me your Crystarium was a bit more advanced. That Mission was suicide from the get go.

I told you my stats were 12K, 10K, 10.5K HP >_>

HP doesn't mean a thing. Seriously, I can't know what your Str and Mag were from HP.

And you technically couldn't be that low. My Fang has 12K too and she doesn't have any role maxed. How's yours the same when I had less Crystarium and no HP boosts?

I have no HP boosts as well. Probably I didn't have two roles maxed, but I definetly had at least one per character. How are you developing your main roles?

The way I did it, was focusing on a single branch at a time. For Fang I only focused on COM, For lightning RAV and for Vanille MED. Once that hit 5, then I would level up the n ext one.

I do it differently, I focus on one branch until the cost of CP increases, then I go to the next role. It allows more stats with less CP.

I don't know. It's literally impossible for me to beat Neochu. My Crystarium is probably too different from yours for it to work.

Try it later then, or put some damage reduction accesories, like General Belt, since you're basically only going to get hit by physical damage during the fight.

Anyway, since you have the Growth Egg, that's too much of a hassle. You're bound to have another Neochu fight eventually, if you haven't done it already on the Titan trial.

Biggest pain in the ass? Hmmm, probably the Neochu fights, without using the Death trick on them. Other than them, mission 62 with the two Ratjavikias is probably the hardest fight in the whole game, being that it can't be done with any cheap method.

Story bosses aren't hard per se, with the exception of maybe Brynhildr (I got her only at the last 5 seconds of Doom) and probably Cid (I had a bad Paradigm preparation going to the fight on the first time). Other than them, bosses were relatively easy.

i agree the Neochu's are too difficult without death, luckily i never have to fight them again :D however i can't beat the Ratjavikias, Multicast is just too powerful when they both cast it at the same time.

The most annoying one i have had was the Attacus battle, took so long i got bored a bit.

What is the current hp of your characters? I have to do missions 59-64 but i'm maxing out my weapons and characters before i do.

Lightning = 17345 HP, 1669 Str, 1690 Mag

Fang = 21395 HP, 2091 Str, 1246 Mag

Hope = 15445 HP, 975 Str, 2240 Mag

All with Lvl * Tier 1 weapons, excluding Lightning who has Ultima Weapon Lvl 30 (tier 2) and General Belts Lvl *.

Mission 63 you can use the Death trick.

I am maxing out aswel, and 5/5s'ing everything which is being a pain without the Gold Watch, currently have 4/6 of Roles Lvl 5 for all characters so may try mission 62 again and then mission 64 and i will have done them all :D

what about you?

The Ratjavikias are indeed powerful, but you can even the odds in your favour. Just make one or two Witch Bracelets * per character. That way you'll have almost 50% magic reduction, which trust me, will make all the difference in the fight XD

The trick to the fight is to single each one individually, forget about the other one. Use lightining as your Main, and start with a SYN/SAB/SAB paradigm. Buff with Haste+Shell first and then with Protect+Bravery/Faith(as you use each character), and then switch to RAV/RAV/RAV. Make sure the Ratjiavikia is slowed, deshelled and Imperiled, as this are of the utmost importance.

Once Staggered, use Army of One until you boost the stagger bar to 800%, then switch to COM/COM/RAV to finish him off. With your stats, you shouldn't have a problem finishing the first ratjavikia on the first stagger. Just make sure to be fast, unless he will put up Inertialess Barrier and you'll lose that stagger.

Rinse and repeat for the next one. Use a MED/MED/MED paradigm for mega fast healing should you need it.

thank you very much will try that now :)

however if i do this mission it means Shao LongGui and LongGui's arrive, and thats scary...

mmmm oh well done it now!!! :D 5/5s aswel, a nice 100k cp xD

End of 2014 Hardware Predictions (03/03/14)

PlayStation 4: 12-15million

Xbox One: 7-10 million

Wii U: 8-9 million (Changed 01/04/2014 from 7-9 --> 8-9 million)

I had 20% physical reduction on Snow with 16K HP and the bastard still dropped dead.

Yeah, I Deathed that other Neochu as well. I wasn't going through 4 damn battles just to run away.

I guess I could get rid of all my other accessories (Str+, Mag+, Growth Egg) and replace it with Dam reduction.

Congrats on doing mission 62 ;) Glad to have been of help.

Don't worry about loosing the Adamantoises from the Steppe. You still have the one on Eden if you ever need to farm for Platinum Ingots. Also, since you now have ShaoLong Guis roaming around, you can start farming for Dark Matters. They aren't very tough to kill, you just need to have the proper paradigm setup. As with all end game enemies, SEN/SEN/SEN is going to be a must.

When I farmed them, I could kill a Shao in less than 2 minutes. When you can get that rythim going, then you're well prepared to take down a Long Gui

20% should have been enough. 20% + Protect + SEN (Even role level 4) should mean that Snow had a overall damage reduction of about 70%. He still died with that?

Yeah, and it doesn't help that Hope BARELY survives. (With two SENs, he was dropped to 1.5k).

He always quickly died after, so my MED was gone and those little bastards proceeded to rape him.

Seriously, since I only have three roles, Fang/Snow/Hope was the absolute best party I could come up with.

That's what happens if your SEN can't provoke all of the Microchus before they start piling up on a single character, as they have that stupid tendency to gang up on the same target.

When I won mission 55, Fang managed to provoke them all on the first turn, so I never took her off the role until I defeated them. The crappy thing about Provoke is that if you switch your SEN's role, provoke is over. It's okay if you switch paradigms that mantain SEN's role, but others that change it, are a no-no.
