Just because you are posting, doesn't mean it is opinion.

Naughty Dog developed Uncharted 2 for PlayStation 3.

GreyianStorm, your logic needs some tending to. It is not possible for a game to truthfully be the best game ever. There is no way to decide which game is best other than by opinion. So if someone says, X game is the the best ever, they are basically saying that it is their opinion because it cannot be a fact. Saying a game is the best ever can only be said as an opinion. Saying Naughty Dog developed Uncharted 2 can only be stated as a fact. You argument is the worst.................ever.

Can we use "ever" a little more strictly? Do we really need to exaggerate every single time we play a game? I doubt that these games are really the best ever, and I doubt that we are the people best suited to make these claims, and I doubt that the title of "best game ever" can change so easily.


This is the best thread ever. You are one of the most interesting posters ever.

What you're missing completely is that there are plenty of people who say it not as opinion, but as fact. Just because someone is posting, doesn't mean it is their opinion. There are plenty of times when people say that game A can not be the best game ever. That isn't opinion, they are telling other people they are wrong, as if it is fact that such and such a game can't be best.

It doesn't matter whether or not someone meant to state that something is a fact if cannot be. I can say that my girl friend is the most beautiful girl in the world, but there is no actual way of proving it. An opinion should never be stated as a fact and so even if it is, it can still only be seen as an opinion. There is no other way at looking at it. 

I'll say it again. A game can never be the best game ever outside of someone's opinion. Whenever someone says a game is the best ever, it can only be seen as an opinion, even if they state it as a fact.  Here is the rule of logic "X game is the best game ever=opinion".
