Forums - Microsoft - Greenberg: Publishers 'struggle' on Wii

I cant debate anymore, iv completely forgotten what my main point was lol.

I surrender.

That yes 3rd parties on the Wii sell less, but they are selling less because of their own incompetence and ineptitude rather than the playerbase.

Around the Network

and watch how quickly them 3rd parties turn their back on natal, its not going to stick and I don't think it would catch on in the 1st place.......... natal is intended to sell 360consoles but the only ppl that will buy it are 360 owners and I dodn't think any 360 owner is going to go buy it "even if it is great" witch at best it will be alright maybe............

wow this thread changed, but since were talking about just dance I'm 100% sure the majority of ppl who got it, love it and I wouldn't be surprised if sales increased cause I don't think I've ever seen a commercial for it but I just hope some of these ppl evolve as gamers like the ppl who loved the baseball game on wiisports buy mlb2010 or the ppl who liked calibas hunting buy a call of duty game and so on (calibas hunting almost sold a million on wii btw) and thats what I think 3rd parties are hoping for and I think it could slowly happen in some cases and it already slightly started but unfortunately for 3rd parties nintendo is hitting tham ppl harder then ubisoft 2nd............

The Conduit got an 8.3 on VGChartz and is selling 0.39 million.

Mad world sold 0.46 million.

Even CoD4 didnt sell well, those are good games

VGChartz is one of many review sites, and it being 15 points above average doesn't really make it that good of a source. You picked one favorable review out of 80 reviews. Don't cherry pick, especially at a 69 meta I can dig up waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more negative reviews than you can dig up positive.

Madworld was a really shallow 6 hour game with no replay value and horrible looping dialogue. Other than that it was great.

As for COD4, which you keep bringing up, let's look at another game that was ported to another system a year later:
http://vgchartz.com/worldtotals.php?name=bioshock&console=&publisher=&genre=&minSales=0&results=50&sort=Total
Hmm BioShock 1 sold 1/5th of what it did 360 vs PS3 I guess PS3 owners hate gaming!

It all boils down to this: you're grasping at straws. The reason you're grasping at straws is because this really is the best effort from 3rd parties. A year old port and 2 shitty games that would have sold like shit on another other system, too.

Yes Madworld and Conduit failed but THEY DESERVED TO FAIL BECAUSE THEY'RE BAD GAMES. The simple fact that these 3 games are your "big hitters" in this argument speaks volumes about just how shitty 3rd parties are.
