What tthe fuck's with all these stupid turtles?

Okay, Admanchelid.
Adamantoise
Admanatortoise
Long Gui
Shaolong Gui
Xiaolong Gui

Anyone mine explaining their differences?

Adamanchelid = Shaolong Gui
Adamantoise = Long Gui
Adamantortoise = Xiaolong Gui

Basically, the Long Gui versions are souped up versions of the Adaman ones.

The differences between Adamantoises and Adamantortoise are basically HP (Adamantoises have 5.6M, Adamantortoises have 3.2M) and are vaguely different in enemy model (Adamantoises have armour plates on their shell and have longer horns than Adamantortoises). Same rule applies for Long Gui

Which is the most powerful?

And are Adamantortoises the ones without horns? (And are they stronger than Adamantoise?)

Adamantoises are stronger, but just a little bit stronger (an Adamantoise stomp does 12K while a Adamantortoise does 10K).

@KylieDog

Have to check it out next time i'm on the game, but when I was fighting Long Guis, i've only found them on the Steppe and didn't see a single Brown version.

Adamantortoises are the two guarding the adamancheild's to the east. They have less HP, but are more magic resistant. The main implication of this is once you get them down it takes longer to get their stagger to 999%.

lol, you cant fight him for obvious reasons. He ate an adamantoise, remember?

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

Spoiler:

He's the Fal'Cie Titan, a Biogerator. He eats weak species and creates new, stronger ones. Unlike other Fal'Cie, he has no quarry nor does he care about the confrontations between Pulse and Coccon, he only exists to test out the strong.
