I was thinking about getting a netbook for portable stuff, etc. and came across this article about the HP slate. Seems it comes with a full version of Windows 7 and such.

Same as the iPad: too big to replace a phone, too limited to replace a laptop.

I don't think a market exists for these devices, cool-looking as they are.
