New Rising Details

Although this is considered "leaked" information, and has not been confirmed. An inside source of Konami has leaked details to MGSTrueFans about the upcoming multi platform game: MGS Rising.

Rising will take place between MGS2 and MGS4. It will follow the timeline of Raiden changing from a person(MGS2) to ninja in MGS4, it will also include the events of Raiden rescuing Sunny, and himself being rescued by Eva(MGS4: Big Mama). Thus, the game will be cannon and not a spin off.

Included was also details on a possible release date of March 19th 2011, and it stated to expect more details on Rising in the next one to two months.

Hopefully the information they're saying to expect is a new trailer.

not really a rumor but quite obvious, they didn't explain why he became a ninja and all and what happened to him after 2 he just told Snake that he became a hunter or something like that by his master.

this game will tell that story.

Well when it comes to Metal Gear Solid you can't be to careful. 

this is what im hoping the game will be, however its unlikely though it seems the "cool" thing is to make Raiden a badass ninja nowadays to please the casual MGS crowd

thats what happened between MGS2 and 4, didn't you play MGS 4?

According to the database if I remember right he resuces Sunny from Area 51 then leaves to "wander the earth". then while searching for the remains of Big Boss he is captured and experimented on. I don't think this game will be that good if we play as ninja raiden, maybe this whole scenario won't be as interesting as it seems because the database has explained a lot of what happened the game would be just cinematically showing and playing what the database already says and MGS has always been about creating a new atmosphere, plot for each game, character development etc.

If this is true then we will see an appearance by Big Boss I believe.

Eva+Raiden had to work together to rescue him.

Would make sense if true.

I want a trailer for this game so bad. :(
