i Was just wondering when sony updates the PS3 to become 3D capable with game and movies,will it help the sales as it will most likely be the cheapest 3D bluray player??

I dont think so, I think some of the other Blu-ray players are going to get an update as well.

If Sony pushed 3D they way they are advertising, I anticipate most of the players being capable shortly. The biggest expense is a 3D capable TV. My 3D capable monitor is only a 22 inch and it still cost me almost $250.

As is the case with all electronics, the prices will come down in time.
