Forums - Gaming - RE5... You have to admit...

all the people that say RESIDENT EVIL 5 is bad have to admit that they atleast somewhat liked it. I went on the capcom forums and there were a lot of people who loved it and a handful who didn't. But most posted in one of the threads how much they played it, and... most of them had 200+ hours on the game, even if they didn't like it. It just made me think about it because people say they don't like it, but play it. RE5 was great but people want classic RE so they say it sucks so that capcom changes it even though they did like it.

Don't write "because it's not scary", if you loved RE4 and not the others then you have no right to say it needs to be scarier or it's bad compared to it because they are the same with minor differences. Older RE's were great but then the same formula for the 3 got boring so they changed it so that they get fans

I also hope they change the next RE so thet it gives us a fresh experience. But RE5 was great.

I do not think many people if any can play a game for 200plus hours and it be one they do not like.

i dont like the environments of resident evil 5 thats it other than that the game was good

There art two different DLC scenarios for RE5. "Desperate Escape" is more like the RE4/RE5 gameplay that people are complaining about. "Lost in Nightmares" is more like the old fashioned Resident Evil games that people want to come back so badly.

Lost in Nightmares had the atmosphere and the scares but I'll be playing Desperate Escape waaaay more. Backtracking is so 1996.

heres the way i look it at, re2 was damn good and scary, re4 was damn good and still kinda scary, re5 was fucking amazing and not scary at all...i mean yeah it wasnt scary, but that doesnt mean its not good, i had so much fun playing with my buddy, those hours could never be replaced by some scary moment that only happens once in re4...so yeah they are good, point blank.

I hate every frickin second of that game. The stupid plot line, the horrible re-design of Chris and Jill, the idiotic AI of Sheva, the hilarious ending involving something that it's impossible by any physical law, the tedious quick time events, I even hate the cheap Ronald Mc Donald figurine that I got from the "special edition".

So no, I regret every second that I spent with this stinker.

Resident Evil 5 was good, really good actually but if it wasn't for its producer who said that it will be one of the scariest games (he said that before its release). That's why I was disappointed in the game, other than it, it surely was a good game

The controls fit RE4 better than RE5,Im talking about the enviroments

No, the controls of RE5 are better than ps2 RE4 because you don't run with o and shoot with x. It was wierd but i got used to it. But RE5's fit very well.

RE5 was amazing! if it was an action game. but its not. Its a horror game. I wasn't scared once. I still had a blast getting that Platinum trophy. The Most fun I ever had getting a Platinum Trophy actually.
