The game looks great but is it really that important? Even with Mass Effect, would it have been that big a blow to anyone if it went multiplat? Not really.

Good thing it wasn't exclusive then. i'll probably play it on PC.
I think SC: C is staying exclusive to the 360, but calling "typo"? Way to "whoops, I just wrote a P, a S and a 3 in succession, but it was a slip of my keyboard...." O_o
A copy paste error is more likely, but a typo? Seriously?

That's how it all starts. Next thing you know, we're sitting on an island because the melting of the icecaps. Fecking useless pigeons.
Doubtful, something like this could get him in a LOT of trouble with Ubisofts PR dept. It wouldn't have been done as a joke, and all considered I'd think he'd use his head when putting this out.
It's one thing when a random website lists a game for pre-order or something like that, but this guy has more than plenty incentive not to mess up like this. Saying that though Ubisoft did say that Splinter Cell: Conviction would run perfectly fine on the PS3 so we can assume they had developed it at least to some extent for both systems before the exclusivity deal with MS was set.
Like the game going multiplat would be surprising in the slightest. Every Splinter Cell goes multiplat. Hell, the original for the Xbox was even ported to the Gamecube eventually!

Or they could just try making some themselves...
