Was this comment really necessary? There are people in here that do play on the PC and do know what S.T.A.L.K.E.R is.

And why is S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat a sleeper hit when Shadow of Chernobyl already had cemented it's status as one of the best PC FPS? o.O 

 

the comment was just a way to route out other stalker fans and appears to have worked :D

 

alhtough i will admit that most people's reaction to stalker I have seen is ' why the fuck do you like this when we have MW2?  the graphics are shit, the multiplayer is shit and the single player should take  7 hours max' so I have become rather jaded towards the FPS gamaing community.

 

id say its my personal sleeper hit since i did not expect it to be as good as it is

I kinda understand what you mean, lots of people don't get what Stalker is all about, since it's pretty much different from almost all FPSs out there.

I've yet to play Call of Pripyat since i've been swamped with other games (and I still need to finish Bioshock 2 and AvP on PC as well, since I have no more space left on my HDD, mainy for the HDD beast that is Dragon Age T.T).

What story does the game take from? The ending where Strelok destroys the C-Consciousness or the one where he merges with it?

Metro 2033

Though it has a list of flaws it is the only game released in 2010 I absolutely wasn't interested in.

You play as a new character, a Ukranian agent sent in to estbalish why 5 military choppers crashed in the zone. So far there hasn't been much of a link to past games although I am about to enter Pripyat so that could all change very very quickly.

 

Definately the best stalker game so far tho is my opinion of it

Easily Bayonetta. This game went from being so bad that I made a thread about how horrible it looked to being one of the 10 best games I've played this generation. My instincts are NEVER wrong but this time, they weren't even close.

I tried that once on Shadow of Chernobyl, but the only way I could survive was either by Stealthing or Sniping and even then it was brutal XD
