Hmm... my first call would be the Soul Blazer franchise. There were 3 awesome games for the SNES/SFC, and then... nothing. I'd also like to see Lunar 3, but the series isn't dead with all the rehashes of 1 and 2. Then we have Lufia, which, well... I'd also like to see a proper new sequel in, not a retelling morphed into an action game.

Thus, second on my list is relegated to a common answer here- Kid Icarus.

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

Suikoden and Castlevania. Now don't get me wrong, the series are still 'alive' in a matter of speaking...but just barely. The only ones buying the games are the die hard fans, and even many of them are jumping ship. And with Suikoden, the series has gotten so off course, even the fans gave up on it long ago. Many of the sales for the newer games are just from people walking into the store and picking up a random copy.

Obviously Konami is trying to revive the Castlevania series with a whole new 3D title and various remakes, but we'll see how that goes. And as it stands, we still have the problem of Suikoden...an RPG series on vertiable life support that has no identity and only has a game come out whenever they feel like it. And hasn't seen a game near the quality or similar style of its predecessors since its creator left with Suikoden III.

Definitely with the OP on a donkey kong game. Heck, with the resurgence of 2D mario, even a good 2D donkey kong could be great right now.

Kotor and Jade Empire if I were Dr. Ray Muzyka. HD upgrades followed by sequels would rock. Beyond Good and Evil might qualify but I never played and it's not on the bc list. I read some rumours but nothing lately. A 241 from Ubi. would sell one copy for sure.

I know the op meant series in decline rather than one-hit wonders but I got nothin there.
