I was watching the trailer for the new hydro thunder on XBLA and I couldn't help but be reminded of WaveRace!

Since we probably won't be getting a WaveRace this gen, will you be buying Hydro Thunder to take it's place?

Play some Wii Sports Resort - here's your WaveRace. No need in substitute. Hydro Thunder might be a good game on it's own, I liked arcade version.

I don't get why Nintendo is not doing a Wave Race 2. It was a fun game and it is perfectly designed for the wii audience and they would create another big franchise. You can't own enough big franchises.

Wow how can you compare these two games together? they're very different.

Wave Race 2? It was called Wave Race Blue Storm. 

Hydro Thunder and Wave Race are very different. Hydro Thunder is a lot more arcady, and uses boats. The only similarity really is that they're on water. 

Well was never a huge Waverace fan, but I did like the Xbox game Splashdown. So maybe it can replace that haha.
