Heh, Inspiral Carpets sound like a slowed down version of The Jam. I haven't heard that song in AGES.

If you're going to imitate anyone, The Jam ain't a bad place to start.

dunno much of The Jam's stuff tbh

I like some of the Inspiral's other songs, but This is how it feels is my fave of there's.

You should check them out. They're one of the most underappreciated bands of the 70s. Great stuff.

They were part of Acquire the Fire. So I thought they had to have been pretty popular

You have been to AtF too?  Sweet!  Where you from?

I'm from NC. I went to the AtF in Norfolk back in 07(?) it was awesome! Though I liked Battlecry better. The bands at BattleCry weren't as good though.

How's Indiana? :D

Lol, Indiana's great!  And didn't BattleCry have Pillar perform at it?  I've actually been to NC quite a few times.  My sister used to live in Fayatteville and I have relatives that live near Boone.

here is more

the guitar and bass riffs combo are amazing.

his voice has a little "Lithp" (Lisp) but the song is great!

no one will like this i am sure, i LOVE it though, its very atmospheric

their music are all about Fantasy and magic and all that good stuff

the most tension building song ever made no other song comes close.

i love this type of music :]]]]]]]

Then I assume you're a big fan of The Pretenders, Souisxie and the Banshees, and Concrete Blonde.

Siouxsie yes a huge fan (but they're very popular ) , The Pretenders and Concrete Blonde, not a big fan, but i understand the comparisions and inspirations.
