Mine certainly does.  It gets pretty hot in the region underneath the console.

I still laugh when they say "It only does everything", they should put a "except plays PS2 games" in little print on the ads.

A question for you and the rest of the commenters that share the same thoughts as you.

Do you seriously still want to play PS2 games? News flash, they are not making any more PS2 games.

actually, companies are still making Ps2 games.

Sakura Wars was just released for one thing.

Also, there are some memorable Ps2 games and Id argue that some of those games are superior to a lot of whats found on the Ps3 so far.

Wow, one game. Name a few more for me well ya? Anyways i believe there should be about 90 million PS2's out there in peoples home. If you dont have one.. its just $99.....

I still want it to: support MKV, FLAC, & APE formats. Play my own music while gaming, and voice chat support when not gaming.

Things I like it to improve: Its web browser, play higher resolution Youtube videos, full screen properly my own videos, a proper way to organize files other than date & or Alphabetical order.

I know there is more, I just can't think if them right now I'll just Edit it later and fill in the gaps.

Okami, for one thing, is far better than anything in its genre next gen so far.

Burnout 3 is still the best in the series

ICO and SOTC are still classics

Klonoa 2 is on Ps2

lots of RPGs and adventure games I dont really feel like listing.  a lot of niche stuff that showed a ton of creativity and uniqueness.

This gen because of developer costs you are limited to a few select genres with very little otherwise.

As for a  $99 Ps2, no thanks.  Im not paying for that. Maybe if it was 30$ or something.

All i wanted was videogames online for free and it did more than that so i would say yes.

totally is

We need a new choice: "It only does everything but "linux""

Totally true but then again it works well without Linux
