Louisiana State...er...what is LSE?

It's one of the best universities in England, not equiavalent to their Harvard (oxford) but certainly comparable to one of america's top 10

Sorry, but I am not sure I would want to learn about economics from a school in the US, or England. Neither one of them seem to know what it is.

Well, that's you mafoo, i'm just going by reputation here. Also, please realize that if this is a criticism of US/Brit policy, then separate that from a school that has no bearing on policy.

It was a joke. I am sure it's a great school, and congratz for getting in!

So you'd suggest Austria, or maybe China?

The US just passed a bill to spend 1 trillion dollars, that we don't have.

Name one other country in history that's ever done that.

The US has been borrowing money for a long long period of time. It all started with Reagan, so don't you even dare blame democrats or liberals. How is it any different now than before? In fact the 1 trillion dollars are a very small fraction of what has been racked up before this bill.

OT: Grats man, though on first can through I thought you were talking about LSD not LSE.

You just following me around now to argue with everything I say?

Here watch a video, and lean something for a change.

Seems we are on at the same time and you spout what seems to be a lot of bullshit, can't help it.

Also, let me get this straight, Republicans' best defense is "Yeah, we started it but Obama is worse!," really? Really? In fact what that video showed me is that Republicans are absolutely horrible at NOT spending money. Yet the first democratic president since FDR who really starts spending money is trashed talked to death. I am nearly 100% sure than when a Republican wins in 2012, they will be all about not spending money, and they will still somehow manage to spend ridiculous amounts.

Any person who calls themelves Republican right now and bitches about spending is a horrible hypocrite unless they became Republicans a year ago.

See, here is the problem. You don't know me very well.

I am not a Republican. I was not a Bush fan. I am the first to say Bush was the second worst president we ever had, following distantly behind Obama.

Spending money you don't have is never a good idea. As John Adams once said, there has never been a democracy that's didn't commit suicide. And all great nations that commit suicide, always do it economically. In the grand scheme of things, the US is a very young country. This idea that we will be here forever, and can just spend like made (that all presidents in my lifetime have thought) will be the end of us.

There were people like me, watching rome fall, who had people like you calling them idiots. I am ok with that.
