Ever since Halo 3 launched and maybe a few weeks before it, the 360 had US sales above 100k consistently ever since. Do people here believe those sales can be maintained even after the holidays?

sure why not, it has the greatest games atm in its library and americans love their home made products so i don't see why not =)
Euhm depends on the games. I don't know what is normal but would it not be normal after Christmas that sales go down? I don't think many can afford a console then after the expensive holidays (or they got money for Christmas).

no. I think it will increase througout xmas, just like last year, and then drop off significatly in Jan. Agian, just like last year.
well, it had the one of the greatest lineups in history.... halo 3, orange box, assassins creed, guitar hero 3, mass effect, rock band, call of duty 4 , it makes sense that sales have been above 100 K
But all those great games will still be there after the holidays, and for those that havent yet picked up the games, Its still "new" to them!

Now you are talking about software sales.

It could stay above 100k for a week or two....But I doubt it'll sustain 100k+ sales for any significant period of time until:
Grand Theft Auto IV Launches
A Price drop ($50 USD+) occurs
Only under those 2 circumstances will the X360 get some sort of temporary, or for the price-cut, long, sustained sales at or near 100k.
As for the reasons to pick up a X360: they are there, and consumers are buying them in droves. However, the price is still too high for everyone to just buy it like they are the Wii. The standard price point is still $350. Thats still too high. If MS can drop the Arcade to $219 or below, it'll start selling alot quicker. But at $279 for the basic console, you can't always get a ton of sales.
Like I've been saying (even though some attack it): the price point of above $300 for the main console is just too high for most consumers. By the time you get software and everything, the point-of-entry is just too crazy. Look at the Xbox 1: the second it hit $200, sales took off. Same for the PS2.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
no i think it will increase in the holidays but then around febuary will fall below 100k in the americas
