i don't get it. dyou guys mean on standby or actually leaving it on?
bcuz first off. i definitely don't have the time to game for more than 2 hrs (3 at the max).
and secondly, when i'm done playing, i use that archaic option they give, it's called turning it off.

Well I can play for anywhere between 1-12 hours a day, heck, even more if I can be arsed, and on occasions, I'll leave it on overnight to download some demos or whatever from the PS Store.

WOW!! After reading this post, I remembered that i havent turned off my PS3 since i accidentally hit a button on my Blu Ray remote to turn it on 3 hrs ago lol

40Gb Phat PS3, left it folding for 3 months straight before I got jack of the power bill. I've had it since Jan 08 and it has never skipped a beat, which I put down to it being well ventilated.
