What if you do not play multiplayer. Which game would you recommend for a single player only player? Killzone 3 or Resistance 3?

if any of them is fun i'm however more geared toward Killzone , it got potential plus i don't like the setting of Resistance (old WWII with Aliens) i hope the new one is set in modern day.

If they make R3 old school again - which is what I liked about R1 - and also get some consistency into the plot (do the Chimera need cold or not? One minute they want to turn the world into an ice world the next they're running around sunny America apparently having decided, to quote the Madagascar penguins, that freezing cold "sucks") then R3 for me.

I enjoyed Killzone 2, and I did like the MP, feel of the game, etc. but they need a much stronger narrative and flow and more variety to the gameplay. I did like the end of KZ2 quite a bit, even if the game hadn't worked up to it very well, so maybe KZ3 will pick up from there and keep it consistent, too.

But for me Resistance has my favourite setting and backstory of the console based FPS, but I felt Insomniac squandered their good work somewhat in R2 with some seemingly major changes in what's going on plus a blatant switch from the old school carry millions of weapons that everyone liked in R1 to a CoD4/Halo clone approach, which I'm sure lost them sales as that got pretty consistent bad word of mouth.

I'll probably end up buying both anyway so I guess it's a moot point.

I want KZ3.

Im sure KZ3 will win in graphics, but if R3 brings back campaign co-op, screw graphics R3 wins overall lol. If KZ3 has co-op oh man that'd be too awesome!!!

R3 for Q4 2010. KZ3 for March 2011. Timing the release is critical for sales for both of these games.
I would go for Killzone 3 ahead of Resistance 3. I own Killzone 2 its a good game. I am not interested in Resistance 3. I have never played either of the first two Resistance games.

both amazing series....both cliffhanger endings.....both FPS with great and icnonic enemies.....I think I'll just get both when I look at it like that.

I would love Resistance 3 to have the weapon and health system of resistance1 though,and I'd like the story of Killzone 3 to go back to Vekta,I loved the Killzone2,Helghan was exactly as you would expect it to be from looking at the Helghast....I mean everyone complained about the the lack of colour for the environments,but seriously did people expect the helghast to be planting sunflowers and have rainbows coming out of their asses?
