Using accelerometer for 3D would give us the same results as this game on the DSi using camera tracking:

Why launch a portable with a different name, more graphics, and more pricey, that at the end the "3D" is the same as seen in that video?

Why does it have the Sharp 3D LCD screen then?

Also Nintendo said "3D without glasses" so it means its stereoscopic images, and those videos only shows successive single frames, otherwise you would need glasses to see the 3D effect.

Nintendo probably is talking here about the 3D you see in avatar, but you won't need glasses.

I just hope it isn't that expensive teh sharp 3d screens are pretty $$$.

Actually, they're not as expensive as you might think.

"For now, however, the technology is confined to smaller displays. Parallax barrier LCDs cost about $20 to $30 per display at the size the Nintendo 3DS will likely use, 4 inches. Traditional LCD screens of that size that are currently in the Nintendo DSi, cost about $10 to $20 each, according to DisplaySearch."

I don't trust something that says they could be equal in price. 10-20 or 20-30? I don't think so. Either they don't know and just threw numbers out there, or the something crazy is on with that screen.
