Just wondering if anyone still reads the instruction manuals to games, as most games of a typical genre usually use the same controller layout as well a lot of games have a tutorial at the start that tell you how to play the game.

Personally, I only read them when I am waiting for some games to install.  Or if it is a game like Oblivion

Unicorns ARE real - They are just fat, grey and called Rhinos

no-i dont buy games that are too complicated

No, figureing out what to do and how to do it is part of the fun Of course this can back fire at times as in you made your life harder on a game for a bit. Plus, a lot of games have step by step intructions as you need to learn to do something anymore.

For the same reason as you do :D Can't sit there and wait for the game to install doing nothing.

yeah, i like to look at the drawings in the manuals. my ideal job - game manual designer.

but i hate them when they're just two-tone with no character. the LoZ ones are nice, and the GoW ones.

No, can't remember the last time I used one. I've only looked at them for the pictures, which is rare.
