Mouse rulez, but where's the keyboard? Yet another console failure against the almighty PC!

Having the analog in the left hand and using mouse for aming is far superior to a keyboard.  The mouse is what makes PC gaming great, the keyboard is what holds it back.

Also, this isn't to combat the Move or Wiimote, its just the 360's version of the FragFX that is available on PS3.

That controller is nice, I agree, jokes apart. Anyhow keyboard has its streghts in some genres, but also weaknesses and when possible gaming keyboards reduce their main flaw, the higher probability of hitting the wrong key during fast actions.

Exactly.  They are definitely advantageous for MMOs and the like.  Shooters is where I struggle with the keyboard.  Its too fast paced for my limited PC gaming and using a keyboard.  Mouse is ok, keyboard always screws me in FPS games.

The only negative to this controller setup is that it has no Mic port on either the mouse of the nunchuck thing so I'd have to either play without a mic or not be able to use my Astros which would hurt my gaming experience just as much as this thing might improve it...

Or use the wireless xbox 360 headset... This looks like it could be a worthy investment.

Astros are a 5.1 surround sound over the ear gaming headset.  You can't use that and a wireless microphone because the astros need a corded microphone connected to it in order to use the mic built into them.  The wireless mic would make me choose between not using my Astros in order to still chat and be left with a weak stereo audio setup with using this controller, or just use my Astros with this controller and not chat.

Well that's a start I guess. I'm still shocked that neither of the two HD console Wiimote copies went with a traditional controller that can seperate down the middle to provide two motion wands. I guess Sony was prevented from doing so because of the balls on the front.

But mark my words, at least one of the next gen consoles will contain a traditional looknig controller that can split apart to offer two seperate motion and aim detecting controller sections.

I had this thought awhile back as well, split controller (what I thought Sony was going to do with their MC) Well Played Sir.
