Honestly, you couldn't know where the stick would be. I would "stick" to normal limbo.

Edit: the pun was originally unintended, but it was too funny so I added quotes.

heres how it would work.
you would see yourself and the stick on screen
when you bend down you would see if your under the stick
if you pass underneath the stick in the right type of motion then it would let you progress to the next level.
