Fox is doing a reboot of the Fantastic Four movies so Chris Evans is most likely not the Human Torch anymore. Plus there's rumors that Hugo Weaving, Jeremy Irons, and Christoph Waltz are in the running to play the Red Skull.

I agree, he lacks gravitas.

It IS a difficult role to fill.

With Deadpool, if they're going to do something close to the comic, then he SHOULD be wearing a mask most of the movie, and some really nasty makeup FX without it.

I think RR can get away with doing both.
