Have you seen the first couple seasons, also known as the "drawn by the original artist and company before they outsourced it to Korea"? Much better IMO. But yeah, the manga is worth reading now that it's been going for a long time and you don't have to wait a week for 10 pages of story at a time. The anime has been going downhill, I haven't watched in a year, but the filler arcs are ALWAYS terrible.

Just do yourself a favour and watch One piece

I am and loving it! I started with bleach then Naruto and last Oct One Piece which beats the others from it's ability to keep good amount of combat with comedy.

best leave bleach as anime and manga, the movie's probably gonna be low budget with plastic hollow masks and fake orange hair, i wanna see who's gonna act out matsumoto tho...
