Forums - Sony - Jack Tretton Takes Aim at Natal.

Blast from the Past:

I'm still waiting for my $9,600 for the 8 PS3 I found gathering dust at a local store back in 2007.

Jack Treton is a liar

Sony is spending a lot of effort banging Natal...

Makes me feel like they see it as a large threat...

Why would they give it air time otherwise?

Lol, Sony keeps taking shots. Kinda funny. It is nice to hear someone other than Aaron Greendouche run their mouths for a change.

"If you can find a PS3 anywhere in N America thats been on the shelves for more than 15 minutes I'll give you 1200 bucks for it" - this was so wrong it was sad.

"If you look at the adoption rate of the DS over the first 17 months, not only does it trail the PSP but it also trails their other platforms ... They're potentially losing some of their core audience and they're not really expanding beyond that." - oh dear.

“We are in the first 25 per cent to 30 per cent of this generation. I would say we're sitting in the catbird seat. And if you like what you see right and if you thought last year was the year of the PlayStation, I hope that in 2015 somebody is going to be saying, ‘This is the Year of the PlayStation 3.’ - Jan 2010. - staggering arrogance or stupidity - I'm not sure.

You know he HAS to say stuff like that. How well would sony stock do if he came out and said.

"Well, you know what? We are getting our asses kicked."

Not well I imagine.

well, it's the truth isn't it? what can Natal do that the PS2 Eyetoy couldn't do 6 years ago?

Work in the dark?

Obviously Natal is going to have some added features but the basics of it are eyetoy clone. Like really it's and eyetoy on steriods.

How can it be an eyetoy clone if the Eyetoy was never worth cloning? Thats like saying the Ipod was a clone of X MP3 player that never did anything in the market.

The first iPhone was an almost identical clone to LG Prada smartphone, that was released before iPhone was even announced, so even teh company that oozes style copies every now and then...

Stwike him, Centuwion. Stwike him vewy wuffly! (Pontius Pilate, "Life of Brian")
A fart without stink is like a sky without stars.
TGS, Third Grade Shooter: brand new genre invented by Kevin Butler exclusively for Natal WiiToo Kinect. PEW! PEW-PEW-PEW!

Also, I think I lost weight just watching the video where the martial arts guy played that eye toy game. Looked fun. Too bad if I did it, it would look like a seal was dying out of water.

you mean he HAS to lie?

the 1st one was a lie.

the 2nd one was idiotic.

the 3rd one is wishful thinking off this planet.

Lets see you run a company worth as much money as all that he is in charge of.

sony really must be scared of natal, i mean i wouldnt be suprised if they spent more on advertising the faults of natal than what the Move is actually capable of. but i guess thats what happens when a simple 1 year old Natal tech demo of Breakout builds more buzz than everything you have unveiled so far
