Forums - Gaming - I have so many games to finish. Where do I start?

hmm well if i were to play those the order I would go
god of war 1 then 2 those won't take as long are fun and will get 2 great games off your list
shadow of the colossus won't be too long since you'll only be going for one play through and it is only 16 some are much easier that others only 3 or 4 really drove me crazy and only 2 still drove me crazy for a bit after looking at guides
uncharted 2 should be between 10 and 12 hours depending on how many treasures and what difficultly you are playing
I spent over 100 hours on final fantasy x my first playthrough so that will be longer than the previous 4 combined even with a faster run through then again I also put over 100 hours into final fantasy 7 which you want to get so I think you'll be ok

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy haven't played but would you just be playing this one or the sequel as well?

Kingdom Hearts 1 beat this a few times beat chain of memories once and once through kindom hearts 2 as well. If you won't be playing them all or at least one and 2 I'd hold off till you can.

Metal Gear Solid 2 still on my list of games to play as well as 1,3 and 4

your list doesn't look as bad as mine. I have the above mention games, all three Jak and Daxter game plus finishing Daxter. DMC 2-4 Prince of Persia sands of time, warrior within and two thrones, the 3 or is it 4? main ps3 ratchet and clank games, ICO, Rouge galaxy, resident evil 4 and 5,Final fantasy x2. All of this before even dealing with so many of the games that came out there year that I"ve not played yet. Of that list only started MGS1,ICO, DMC2 but lost the save files for all of those. Daxter although I think the safe file is corrupted have 3 games I'm really close to finishing I didn't list. FFII, Castelvantia Sotn little kings story and zack and wiki.

All the same though gaming shouldn't ever feel like a chore it should be fun. So if after giving a game some time you still aren't enjoying it feel free to drop it. Don't play a game you don't like just so you can play one you will.

I've no clue how much money you have to work with but like I've said before, Gamefly man. That's a pretty cheap way to game (ok maybe not for the average gamer who only buys like a few games a year anyway but still). $23/month for 2 games out at a time. You need a credit card for that though I think (unless they have an alternative payment option I'm not aware of).

If that can't work out for you, just play what you feel like playing at the moment from your collection. Don't go into a game thinking, "alright I have to beat this." It'll turn the process into a chore rather than entertainment.
