More people bought it, more people played it, therefore more people would probably vote for it.

I'd have to say that its the best cinematic implementation in a game I have ever seen. Yes I have played Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain etc but it did amaze me how close the game was to an action movie (without all the boring bits like talking). Sony could learn a thing from how they did it.
Tease.
When miyamoto won the academy fellowship award he was so happy that when he read out his speech he started crying and i have never seen a croud clap so much for one person
personally, no.
But TBH I always discount public votes as almost always, for understandable reasons, they skew to the most populist as it simply becomes a numbers game - i.e. if 10% of MW2 gamers vote for the title and 15% of Uncharted 2 gamers vote for the title MW2 will win due to simple weight of numbers.
Nice win for Batman, though, and great recognition for Flower for Artistic achievement.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Ah, I see, thanks! They should just call them "The Limeys" though.
OT: I really don't care, my favorite game of last year was Resident Evil 5 followed by Batman:Arkham Asylum so. . . meh.
personally I say no it doesn't deserve it but I guess with all the nominations it did deserve to get one award

correct me if I am wrong
stop me if I am bias
I love a good civilised debate (but only if we can learn something).
