Forums - Sony - I've tried to pretend it wasn't an issue but I have to admit it is now

The scorpio didn't work so well with my 80gb ps3, though it was a 500gb one.
Then I tried a 500gb from Samsung which worked better than the scorpio but stil not perfect.

So, finally I went with the Seagate Momentus 320gb 7200rps 16mb cache which works like a charm.

Looking forward to: FF Versus XIII / LBP2 / The Last Guardian / Yakuza 4 / ICO Collection

The phat can do 7200rps (I know since I'm using one), though load times are only getting minimally faster.

Dunno about the slim.

I recommend you start deleting games. And you get a faster internet connection.

lol what does getting a faster internet connection have to do with upgrading PS3 HDD?

7200 RPS is possible , but i've read it isn't good for your PS. I would say some kind of Samsung 320 GB 5400 RPS.

I have a 60gb hdd and never had problems with space.
After I play the demos I usually delete it.
same for videos.
