Killzone 3 could definitely make it in 2010 and there have been multiple rumors regarding just that. Keep in mind that Killzone 2 was finished in 2008, but delayed to avoid the shooter fiesta that was Resistance 2 vs. Gears of War 2 vs. SOCOM: Confrontation vs. Call of Duty: World at War.

This holiday isn't really that much better with Halo: Reach, SOCOM 4, and Call of Duty 7, but then Sony has both Resistance 3 and Killzone 3 to choose from to release this holiday and I think given the choice a second time, they'd choose Killzone 3.

And for what it's worth, Resistance 3 looks to possibly be a 2011 release.
