Meh. This somewhat qualifies as an RPG. More action oriented though. Much like Kingdom Hearts.
It's really not that difficult to understand levelling up.

started the game last night. Game of the year for me. It shattered all my expectations. Who cares about towns, when the battle system (gameplay) is amazing. Graphics, Story, Characters, Music. It's a shame everyone is hating on FF XIII.

its not action oriendted , the characters move around but its command based.
