Ever since the big 3 show interest of motion control(wiimote,PS move,Natal) I was wondering about what would happen to classic controllers in the future. Will the classic controllers remain an option(I hope so) or is doom to be replace by motion control?

I know is to early to ask this question but I wanted to know your thoughts.

a lot of games cannot be played with Motion controllers well , so i don't see them going away.

I don't really see the Move or Natal being hugely successful, so I think standard controller options will remain the norm for Sony and Microsoft.

Plus developers still like the standard controller.

I'm not worried.

For along time is my guess. I love my Wii, but even I like to use my classic for some games.
