Not worth $60 if you ask me..

Also... Notre Dame sucks and Canes are the best mmkay? =p

Uh no Irish are the best sorry. :) Tradition wins my friend. Brian Kelly will have us back in the promised land soon enough.

Also according to your profile you don't own a 360 so how can you comment if its worth it or not?

Because he owns a PS3 and they know more about the 360 than owners do.

And it's always negative.

If I had a 360 and I had Halo 3, then I would not buy ODST because there should be more content than the small amount that they offer. If it were $40 I might give it a thought but $60, no way. That goes for any game not just 360 exclusives...

If I had a PS3 and I had Uncharted 1 there is no way in hell I'd buy Uncharted 2 for $60 because there should be more content and a better graphical improvement than what it offers. If it were $40 I might give it a thought but $60, no way. That goes for any game not just PS3 exclusives...

...for criticizing the price of ODST. Now before you bash this thread read my points and tell me you don't agree. For $60 you get:

1. Brand new campaign (on the somewhat short side 6-8 hrs but up to 10 hrs with exploration)

2. Firefight mode (all new multiplayer mode similar to Gears of War's Horde)

3. Every Map Pack released for Halo 3 (total of 24 multiplayer maps)

4. Halo 3 multiplayer (for new 360 owners who haven't purchased Halo 3 yet this is huge..you can play Halo 3 online without buying it)

4. Access to Halo:Reach Beta (arguably worth $60 itself)

...and Activision owes us an explanation.  For $15 you get:

1. 5 multiplayer maps (2 of which are on MW1)

So honestly ODST is not such a bad deal after seeing how Activision wants to rip us off on this new map pack.

3 and 4 are useless for everyone who has Halo 3 then, since they had that already

your second number 4, was that already known when the game came out? If not, not valid, as people did not pay that money because of some distant beta. If it is true, then it's paying for something that's free anyway...

1 and 2 do not justify 60 dollars. Besides, before the game came out and the price went to 60 dollars, every fan justified it. Afterwards, most then pointed to "it's only an expansion pack" when the 'low' sales were criticized. If it's an expansion pack, 60 dollars is overpriced.

I have halo 3 and the maps in odst were very usefull as I didn't have them.

Low sales? isn't it close to 5 million? I suppose that is low for 360. The only ones who complained about the price and it being an expansion pack were sony fanboys who didn't read all of what bungie said or maybe did but deliberatly chose to ignore it.

About the 'low' (I did place those '' there for a reason): There were huge discussions here about the game beating Halo 3 and things like that (yes - no game on both sides). When it became clear it wasn't going to do that, many quickly went "it's only an expansion" as a defensive measure.

Nobody thought ODST was going to outsell Halo 3.

Just because something awful comes out it doesn't mean that something bad is all of the sudden good.

it was only 45 euros here! But for the people that already bought all the map packs it was a waste!

On the other hand no matter what happens with Halo it will always stay the most hated franchise ever

Modern warfare has taken that crown, but only the biggest franchises have the most haters... because theyre the biggest.  The more fans, the more haters, especially when dealing with console exclusives, fanboys will hate, fanboys will praise.

Hell No, 4.5 hour campaign and that is exploring, yes firefight was cool, but not worth 60 bucks, maybe 40 bucks, any Halo fan has most of the maps

You should be banned for life. Idiots like you who obviously haven't touched the game or any Halo game for that matter. The campaign was minimum 6 hours rushing through. Stop trolling the 360 boards you are reported along with your PS3 butt buddies. And this "game that isn't worth it" will sell more than your precious GOWIII. Can't wait to laugh about that one.

Well since ODST apparently only takes 3-4 hours according to the PS3 fanboys it should have cost $30-$40 right?
I can run through any side scrolling Mario game in less than 15 minutes with warps so I assume NSMBWii should have cost no more than 50 cents?
