Lots of non 360 (but ps3) owners saying its not worth it.
In their expert opinion.
And the 360 boards aren't trolled.

I own a 360 and I think the game was an insult to consumers buddy, settle down even 360 owners who love there system have problems with Microsofts actions.

Then the comment wasn't aimed at you buddy.
I clearly said non-360 owners and their expert opinion so settle down.

As you own a 360 and I guess the game your opinion holds more merit.
Providing you own the game.

Not worth $60 if you ask me..

Also... Notre Dame sucks and Canes are the best mmkay? =p

Uh no Irish are the best sorry. :) Tradition wins my friend. Brian Kelly will have us back in the promised land soon enough.

Also according to your profile you don't own a 360 so how can you comment if its worth it or not?

Because he owns a PS3 and they know more about the 360 than owners do.

And it's always negative.

If I had a 360 and I had Halo 3, then I would not buy ODST because there should be more content than the small amount that they offer. If it were $40 I might give it a thought but $60, no way. That goes for any game not just 360 exclusives...

Small amount? In your expert opinion I see.
Oh wait you don't own it so how can you say that without having played it and only listened to fanboys.
How about you give it a good go first.

it was 40€ in Germany, regular games are 60€ so a great deal for me.

And it is not a 3-4 hours campaign. I played the singleplayer for 7 hours on normal.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I got it for £27 so not full price in the UK where game prices are a rip off.

I got it for $30 on black Friday. =)

...for criticizing the price of ODST. Now before you bash this thread read my points and tell me you don't agree. For $60 you get:

1. Brand new campaign (on the somewhat short side 6-8 hrs but up to 10 hrs with exploration)

2. Firefight mode (all new multiplayer mode similar to Gears of War's Horde)

3. Every Map Pack released for Halo 3 (total of 24 multiplayer maps)

4. Halo 3 multiplayer (for new 360 owners who haven't purchased Halo 3 yet this is huge..you can play Halo 3 online without buying it)

4. Access to Halo:Reach Beta (arguably worth $60 itself)

...and Activision owes us an explanation.  For $15 you get:

1. 5 multiplayer maps (2 of which are on MW1)

So honestly ODST is not such a bad deal after seeing how Activision wants to rip us off on this new map pack.

3 and 4 are useless for everyone who has Halo 3 then, since they had that already

your second number 4, was that already known when the game came out? If not, not valid, as people did not pay that money because of some distant beta. If it is true, then it's paying for something that's free anyway...

1 and 2 do not justify 60 dollars. Besides, before the game came out and the price went to 60 dollars, every fan justified it. Afterwards, most then pointed to "it's only an expansion pack" when the 'low' sales were criticized. If it's an expansion pack, 60 dollars is overpriced.

I have halo 3 and the maps in odst were very usefull as I didn't have them.

Low sales? isn't it close to 5 million? I suppose that is low for 360. The only ones who complained about the price and it being an expansion pack were sony fanboys who didn't read all of what bungie said or maybe did but deliberatly chose to ignore it.

About the 'low' (I did place those '' there for a reason): There were huge discussions here about the game beating Halo 3 and things like that (yes - no game on both sides). When it became clear it wasn't going to do that, many quickly went "it's only an expansion" as a defensive measure.

Then you should say that and point out you mean only those few who said that instead of making out that it was all 360 owners and the sales were low.
But I see why you didn't want to.

And it wasn't an expansion pack so stop saying that. It's trolling.

Bungie didn't decide it's pricing, Microsoft did
