Overall? No, Japan will continue to buy games and a lot of them. The question is "what games will they be buying?"

I wouldn't say the majority of our beloved games come from Japan. Check out the top 20-30 rated games for the 360 and tell me how many Japanese developers you see?

Take a look at the PS3 as well though they are some published by sony the companys are not Japan based.

Activision, EA, Ubisoft, 2k among many others have established themselves and have provided us with some great gaming the last couple of years while Japn developers get their stuff together and actually release some games.

actually japan's population is projecd to fall to 100 million by 2050. I think it's supposed to hit 64 milion by 2100, but that will not happen. Someone will step in before that happens.

how many ps2s sold in Japan, me thinks it didn't sell 25 million. How about DS, i'm thinking it's pretty far from 20 million.
