Lol well i do not care about graphics what so ever, and Team fortress looks the same on anything because its not really graphic heavy.

You are still left with bad controls and zero updates.

its MY own choice. and i don't believe in "bad controls" its rather "i am not used to it"

No I'm fairly sure it's bad controls and not "i am not used to it." It's slow aiming and very limiting in what you can do with the small number of buttons on a controller. Otherwise FPS games wouldn't come with auto-aim, as it stands they all do meanwhile not a single FPS on the PC has auto-aim. Just something to think about.

Wow, thats quite the opinion you have there.  I agree with you that FPS are harder on a console because of generally slower movements and I absolutely despise auto aim (its the sole reason I didn't buy MW2), but I feel that if everyone is using the same control scheme it balances out.  Like a universal handicap.  Also Killzone 2 does not have auto aim.

OT: are you able to play other games online?  It could be your router settings, I've had problems connecting to EA servers because of my router before.  If you are able to play other games online, it seems possible that they are down.

Oh no don't get me wrong. If everyone is using crutches then it's still very fair. It's like the special olympics, everyone is evened out. Also there's plenty of things that my PS3 can do that my PC can't, mainly anything that has to do with sports or platforming of any sort, or really anything that was built for analog sticks. I also thought I felt some magnetism on any of the zoomed-in weapons. Not much but I thought there was stickiness, as for auto-aim I really haven't noticed nor bothered to measure it.

yeah i can connect normally to any game, it might be problem with EAs side.

@Mirson

Halo 3 and MW2 are regarded as very noob friendly , i didn't enjoy MW2 because its so easy too get a kill , heck you just select a sniper and your automatically a god.

not all games have Auto-Aim. Team fortress doesn't have autoaim nor does MAG , Killzone , Resistance and i forgot what else i have, but bottom line only little games have auto-aim the ones that sell the most.

Lol, I like the crutches analogy. Very apt.  PC is much better for competitive FPS and RTS.  RTS on consoles is a joke.  They should implement keyboard/mouse controls for that style of game.

I still enjoy a few FPS on consoles though, its nice to be able to sit back on the couch with just the controller in hand and play confortably.  I could just need a new computer chair though.

I'll be honest. My chair is so amazing I don't even bother to move to the couch when watching TV anymore, maybe during a commercial break or something if I realize what I am doing.

Ah, I remember renting the Orange Box on PS3 for the heck of it (mainly just wanted to play it ASAP) before I picked up the PC version. I regretted that decision for the next few nights till it was due back to the rental store.

When it comes to Valve, it's PC for me.

That would be unacceptable!

I mean seriously.

Oh and mirgro, I totally agree that PC controls are more "intuitive" but that doesn't mean they're better (more fun for example).

Have you considered that maybe nobody is playing it?

Damn, that sounds freakin sweet! My computer chair doesn't even have arms.  It also doesn't swivel, rock, or roll =(

@ OP

Just explain to your boss about the seriousness of the issue that kept you up later than usual, leading to lateness, and I'm sure he'll understand =P

Yeah I'm sure he did but they should have warned before closing them (if they really did). Like they did with LotR Conquest - I'm still very sad about this btw :'(
