double agree.
Shooting mechanics for the horror sequences in Deadly premonition are bang on to keep the game balanced and challenging as well as somewhat scary. However this has to be the first game in a long time that doesn't think gore + "boo" monsters equal horror and I commend it for that. The fact that the game is so unconventional with everything it tries makes it distrurbing before a single monster appears... like that moving moose head on the pause screen...wtf...creeps the shit out of me.
