Dang, now you've got me wanting to know what all the geek slapping was all about. Best let sleeping dogs lie. And if there are reasons that are good to you for getting the 360 version then I'm sure you can borrow it of one of your friends who has the 360 version and play through it a second time. That way you get the best of both consoles, and you can do your own "lens of truth" assessment, using the only lens that really matters: the human eye.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Anyone that has both the PS3 and the 360 and chooses the 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII is doing so SOLELY for the achievements. Please, no replies that have to do with the controller being more comfortable, that is a cover up.

I was going to pick it up for the 360, because it seemed like it's very existence pissed off PS3 fans. But unfortunately Now I have to buy it for the PS3, because I made a promise(and am afraid of being banned )

I think stores in the US didn't order enough for the 360. I had to go to three different stores to find it today and all three had PS3 copies in stock. I'm noticing others on here are experiencing the same thing. 

Does anyone know if Walmart is carrying the game or not? I went to Walmart to pick it up and they didn't have it. No 360 bundles, no PS3 version, no 360 version. One guy told me they never got them in. I went online to check and walmart.com shows under the listing for FFXIII and the bundles that it's "Not sold in stores". You can however buy it online. lol on the topic of selling more it could have been that they ordered more ps3 versions than 360 versions, at the gamestop i work at we got in 72 ps3 copies and 50 360 copies

Thoughts on the game so far: The opening cinematic is the best looking thing I have ever seen in a video game. Keep in mind in the last 3 months I have played: Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain and Mass Effect 2.

I'm really okay with linearity in an RPG, the battle system is dull at first, becuase there aren't enough commands and your characters have to learn them. Best surprise so far: they added a codex system like Mass Effect that explains what just happened, super useful!

I'll forgive you as long as you enjoy the 13th Final Fantasy Epic!
