My brother might get to be a beta tester. Will find out later this week. However, I think its gonna suck and I would rather spend the money on a console + games than a membership where my entire playing capability is under their control.

Its $14.99 to log in and watch games. You have to pay extra to actually play.

I never was very interested in this. It's launching on my birthday, which is cool, but I have other things I'd rather spend money on. I don't do subscription fees either, especially when I have to buy the games on top of that. I'm gonna pass on this one.

Why would anyone pay 15 a month plus game price when they could do this for free have a hard copy etc etc and pay nothing except what the game itself cost?

If it was like an online Gamefly I would have been like "cool". 15$ to stream games you have to buy is BS.

If it works the technology behind it is great but the buisness model is so flawed. After onlive went bankrup we wont hear about it. And maybe years later someone else will do the same thing with way better conditions for the consumer. 15 Dollar month is 200 Dollar year a price of 360 arcade and you have way more games to play. Graphics should be better but I cant see the value in it. Its better to buy a 800 Dollar PC and buy games and resell them later. Here yo have to buy the games and if you stop using the service you lost all your games.

hope it doesnt work out the price point looks ridiculous so that helps I prefer hard copies of games and consoles. makes things more interesting.
