If they mean 1st party then that will only require ~3.70 million which is quite do-able for GoW3. If you count MGS4 then it'll have to do an additional million.

Remember they have their America / USA blinkers on. In that context GoW III does have a chance of getting up there to be best selling 1st party title on PS3 to date.

Interesting thing though is the comment that PS3 1st party doesn't sell well (in America). million seller 1st party games in America for PS3 = 6 titles, million seller 1st party games in America for 360 = 9 titles. Not a bad result (OK top 360 titles have sold way more, but being a million seller in a single region is very good, and it certainly isn't "not selling well"). Interestingly 1st party games selling over 500K in Americas is exactly equal at 15 titles. Selling 500K in Americas is a bit like being a million seller worldwide.

And what do they mean by Uncharted 2 falling out of the charts after only 1 month? Maybe the top 20 charts, but not the top 50 (Americas). It's still sitting in the top 50 as of now and showing pretty good legs.

Uncharted 2 didn't fall off the charts after a month of release. It's still in the worldwide top 50 after 5 months.

What are they talking about? It's also right at or over 3 million as well.

Well it's going to be a fight between LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted 2 and God of War III.

Until Gran Tursimo 5 releases.

I hope so but it has to beat MGS4 first. Also it will only hold the title for a few month until GT5 hits.

Sony needs to make gamerz think their not cool if they don't own GOW3, kinda like COD MW 1 and 2 did and how Halo has. By the way before people get mad at this know, I own and love both of these over hyped series.

I think it'll sell fewer copies LTD than Uncharted 2. God of War 3 just doesn't seem to appeal to the older audience as much as that kind of story line appears to appeal more to young males, and they aren't as prevalent as the older males on the PS3.
