I'm not sure I understand Playstation Official Magzine UK's review:

Playstation Official Magazine UK
The game is inches away from scoring 10/10, and it’s only the familiarity of the core gameplay that makes it feel less than the very, very best. But it's definitely the biggest, and if this is the finale, then God of War III gives Playstation's toughest hero the send-off he deserves. [Mar 2010, p.97]

I never understand how reviewers take off points for something like that, the gameplay is what makes these games "These games"

Weird, next someone will take a driving test and fail because they stopped at stop sign, and the instructor will say something like "I lowered your mark 10% because everyone is familiar with the law to stop at a stop sign, I was hoping you would surprise me and go through it"

(ok stupid analogy I know)

a bit like the POM US review then.. "Its not perfect..... - 10/10" ??

the review system is broken these days... its all over the place.

this ... why 10/10 if it is not perfect ?

so if game was perfect, would get 11/10?

Maybe they view the scores like levels instead of just numbers. There's 10 levels(the scores) with alot of enemies(games), different enemies on each level(score). But som enemies are harder to beat even if they're on the same level. So GoW 3 might be an "enemy" you meet at level 10, but its not the last boss. Something like that:P

Time to Work !

Can we have an official place for this instead of posting every random review from some guy who says he rushed through it, admits to not obtaining every weapon, and probably is a giant loser?

There may be perfect scores, but never perfect games. Perfect scores are a "trend" these days.

This review is pure BS though. The guy admitted to rushing through the game in 9 hours and this is also his first GoW. So the story is a no-no for him. And he probably doesn't understand the complexity of the combat system enough because of that reason... Though the score isn't bad, thats not what matters. The review is what matters and its BS.

BS goddammit !

65 times of Twilight in a row for him !
