I really like long cutscenes. More immersion into the story. That is what I like.

Is he the one in the church that pretty much uses boost everytime you attack him? Yeah, he's an ass.

@soriku, I thought the first few hours of Xenosaga I were incredibly weak. It will mostly have you running around looking for something whether it's a place or person, and the cutscenes were dull (the opening scene is the most boring scene I've seen). It left a bad first impression, and I couldn't understand the praise for the game. Fortunately, it picked up around the 10 hour mark, and I got really into it. Give it a chance and hope you enjoy it.

Xenosaga Episode 1 is easily the best out of the three for me.

Sometime, dungeon are very long, pacing can also be anoying, at certain time there will be cutscene each 10 minutes and after that there will not be any for 2-3 hours. So starting tip would be to not get discourage when the dungeon are long because you will be reward with a great story after. Enjoy! Between, Xenosaga is a lot better ;). Star ocean has better gameplay but when it comes to story, pacing and cutscene it doesnt hold a candle against Xeno.

SO3 is a great game. My 2nd fav in the series behind SO2. Xenosaga was good, but nowhere as epic as Xenogears was IMO.
